How to view your controllers
See the controllers across your sites and each one's serial, firmware, network, and connection details.
The Controllers tab in Equipment lists the controllers across all your sites and shows the key details of each one. This guide covers what you can see there.
Before you start
- Controllers is in the Admin > Equipment area, for Org Admins.
View your controllers
Open Admin, then Equipment, and select the Controllers tab. The list shows each controller's:
- Serial number
- Version running (firmware)
- Network
- Current installation (which feed it's assigned to)
- Last connected
Use the search box to find a controller by serial number.
Open a controller's details
Select Manage next to a controller to see its full details: serial number, IMEI, firmware version, network, last connected, and feed assignment.
Good to know
- This view is read-only. You can see a controller's details but firmware updates and controller changes aren't made from here in this release.
- The version history on a controller's detail view fills in as firmware changes are made and the camera reports back.
- To act on a controller (a firmware update, a swap, a return), contact your Account Manager.
Common questions
Can I update firmware from here? Not in this release. The Controllers view is read-only; contact your Account Manager for firmware or hardware changes.
