How to show your site on a screen with Ops Mode
Put a project's cameras on a big screen as a live, auto-refreshing wallboard, and share a view-only TV link.
Ops Mode turns a project into a live wallboard: every camera on a grid, refreshing on its own, ready for a big screen in a site office or reception. You can run it full-screen and share a view-only link for a TV that has no login. This guide shows you how.
Before you start
- Ops Mode is on the web app. Open it from a project on a computer connected to the screen you want to use.
- Sharing a TV link and exiting Ops Mode are project administrator actions.
Step 1 — Open Ops Mode
Open the project and select Ops Mode from the project header. The project's cameras fill the screen as a grid that refreshes automatically. If there are more cameras than fit on one page, the grid rotates through pages on its own.
Step 2 — Choose how images fit
Use the fit toggle to switch between Fit to whole image (the full frame with black bars) and Fill screen (the image cropped to fill). Pick whichever looks best on your display.
Step 3 — Go full-screen
Use the full-screen control so the wallboard fills the whole display with no browser chrome around it.
Step 4 — Share a TV link (optional)
Select Share to generate a view-only link for a TV or public screen. The link opens the wallboard with no login, so it is safe for a screen anyone can see. You can set the fit mode and a light or dark theme for the shared view, and revoke the link at any time.
Done
Your site is live on the screen. It keeps refreshing on its own with no further action.
Good to know
- The shared TV link is view-only and needs no login, which is what makes it safe for a public screen. Revoke it from the Share panel when you no longer need it.
- If the project has more cameras than fit on one page, Ops Mode rotates through the pages automatically.
- Exit returns you to the normal project view (project administrators).
Common questions
Is Ops Mode on the mobile app? No. Ops Mode is a web-app feature, since it is built for big screens driven by a computer.
Does the shared TV link expose anything private? It only shows the live wallboard for that project, view-only, with no account access. Revoke it any time from the Share panel.
