How to manage a project's settings
Change a project's details, manage its feeds and people, and archive it when it's finished.
A project's Settings is where you change its details, manage which cameras and people belong to it, and archive it when the site is finished. This guide covers what you can do there.
Before you start
- Project Settings is for project administrators only. If you don't see a Settings option, your role has viewing access.
Project details
Open the project and select Settings. In Project info you can edit the project's name, description, and location, and set a cover image.
Manage the project's feeds
In the Feeds section you see the cameras on the project. You can add an existing feed from your organisation, and remove a feed from the project (which takes it off this site without deleting it).
Note: Creating a brand-new feed from here is coming soon. For now, add feeds that already exist in your organisation. See Manage a feed's projects.
Manage the project's people
In the Users (or Members) section you can invite people to the project and see who already has access, along with any pending invitations you can resend or revoke.
Archive a finished project
When a site is complete, use Archive this project. Archiving is reversible: it moves the project out of your active list without deleting anything.
On the web app you can restore an archived project later from your archived projects.
Done
The project's details, feeds, and people are up to date, and finished projects are tidied away by archiving.
Good to know
- Archiving is not deleting. Nothing is removed; the project and its images are kept and can be restored on the web app.
- There is no "delete project" or "schedule deletion" action. If you genuinely need a project removed, contact your Account Manager.
- Removing a feed from the project's Feeds section leaves the feed (and its images) in your organisation.
Common questions
How do I permanently delete a project? You can't delete a project in the app; you archive it, which is reversible. For a permanent removal, contact your Account Manager.
If I archive a project, do I lose its images? No. Archiving keeps everything and can be undone by restoring the project on the web app.
Why can't I create a new feed from the project's Feeds section? That is coming soon. For now, add feeds that already exist in your organisation.
