Default Access
Default Access is a default set of permissions applied to every new project for a chosen user or Access Group. For example, a user or group with the Receive Alerts default permission will receive alerts for every project created after the default access was granted.
Where to find it
In Buildcam, open Settings from the navigation, then the Default access tab. The tab lists the groups and users that currently hold a default permission set, with a column for each permission.
What each default access permission does
- Configure — modify the schedule and gallery settings for all new projects.
- View High-res — view and download full-resolution images in the gallery for all new projects.
- Social Sharing — share links to photos for all new projects.
- Gen. Timelapse — view and generate timelapse videos for all new projects.
- Receive Alerts — receive alerts for all new projects.
Because default access applies to every new project, grant it with caution.
