How to Archive a Project

When a project is finished, you archive it. Archiving makes the project read-only while preserving all of its data — and you can restore it any time. This replaces the legacy "conclude an installation" step.

Archive a project

  1. Open the project and click Settings (the gear in the project header).
  2. On the Project settings page, scroll to the Danger zone.
  3. Under Archive this project, click Archive.
  4. Confirm in the dialog.

The project becomes read-only and moves to the Archived list. All data is preserved.

Restore an archived project

  1. Go to Projects and click Archived (top right).
  2. Open the archived project, go to Settings → Project settings.
  3. In the Danger zone, click Restore.

The project returns to the active list and resumes normal editing.

Archiving is an Org Admin / Project Admin action — the Danger zone is hidden for read-only members.
