How to manage your profile
Update your personal details, contact info, and preferences like timezone, theme, and default views.
Your Profile is where you manage your own account: your name, contact details, and preferences like timezone, theme, and which view the app opens on. This guide covers what you can change.
Before you start
- Open your Profile from your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar.
Update your personal details
In Personal details, update your given names, family name, and company, then Save changes. In Contact, update your mobile (with a country code), and Save changes. You can also change your avatar from the top of the page.
Set your preferences
In Preferences you can set:
- Timezone — used for how times are shown to you.
- Theme — light or dark.
- Landing view — whether Projects opens as a grid or a map.
- Default project tab — which tab a project opens on (for example, Media).
Done
Your profile reflects your details and the app behaves the way you prefer.
Good to know
- Preferences are personal to you. Changing your theme or landing view doesn't affect anyone else.
- Your organisation is shown in your profile but is read-only here; it's managed by your Org Admin.

Common questions
Does changing my timezone change my cameras' schedules? No. Your profile timezone affects how times are shown to you. A camera's schedule uses the timezone set on the feed itself.
Can I change my email or username? Your username is managed by your identity provider. For email changes, update your contact details or contact your Account Manager.
