How to compare two images

Comparing two images from the same camera is the clearest way to show progress: pick a "before" and an "after" and see exactly what changed. This guide shows you how and the ways to view the comparison.

Before you start

• Open the camera whose images you want to compare.

Compare two images

From the camera's gallery, open Compare. Pick the two images to compare using their date pickers.

Then choose how to view them:

• Side by side — the two images next to each other.
• Slider — one image over the other with a slider you drag to reveal each.
• X-ray — a movable region that shows the other image only inside it.

Zoom in on either image to inspect the detail.

Done

You can see exactly what changed between the two moments you chose.
