How to browse the gallery

A camera's gallery is the full record of everything it has captured. You can move through it on a timeline, switch to a grid to scan quickly, and filter down to the exact day, time of day, or weather you are interested in. This guide covers finding your way around it.

Before you start

• You need access to a project that has a camera capturing images. Open the camera from the project's Media tab to reach its gallery.

Switch between timeline and grid

Use the view toggle in the gallery toolbar to switch between Timeline view (one image at a time, in order) and Grid view (many thumbnails at once). Timeline is best for following the site day by day; grid is best for scanning.

Filter the images

Open the filter controls to narrow the gallery down by:

• Date — a single day or a date range.
• Time of day — only images captured within a time window (for example, working hours).
• Weather — filter by a weather metric where it is available.

A badge shows how many filters are active so you always know what you are looking at. Clear the filters to see everything again.

You can move through a camera's whole history and narrow it to exactly the images you need.

Good to know

• Timeline is the default view. Grid view is quicker for scanning a busy day.
• Filters stack: you can combine a date range with a time-of-day window to find, say, every midday image over a week.
• Annotating and tagging images are coming soon. The buttons may appear but are not active yet.

Common questions

Why can't I annotate or tag an image? Those features are coming soon. The controls may be visible but aren't active in this release.

Where did an image go after I filtered? It is still there; a filter is just hiding it. Clear your filters to see the full gallery again.
