How to find and manage your projects

The Projects dashboard is your starting point: every site you have access to, in one place. It is where you find a project, see your sites on a map, and open the one you want to work in. This guide covers finding your way around it.

Find a project

Select Projects in the navigation. You can:

• Search by name; results filter as you type.
• Switch between Grid and Map with the view toggle. Grid shows a card for each project with a rotating thumbnail of its latest images; Map plots your sites, groups nearby ones into clusters, and shows a preview when you select a pin.
• Your choice of Grid or Map is remembered for next time.

Open a project

Select (web) or tap (mobile) any project to open it. From there you reach its images, site map, reports, and settings. To learn what's inside a project, see How projects work.

Create a project

If you're an organisation administrator, select New project on the dashboard to start one. If you don't see that button, your role doesn't create projects — ask an administrator. Full steps: Create your first project.

Find an archived project

Projects you've archived are hidden from the main dashboard so it stays focused on active sites. Select Archived to view them; from there a project can be restored. Archiving is reversible — it doesn't delete anything.

Good to know

• The dashboard shows only the projects your role can access, so two people may see different lists.
• Archiving hides a project without deleting it; you can restore it any time from the Archived list.
• To change a project's own details, open it and use its settings.

Common questions

What's the difference between a project and a feed? A project is a site. A feed is a camera. A project groups the feeds watching one site. See How projects work and Understanding feeds and cameras.

Why can't I see a project a colleague mentioned? The dashboard lists only the projects your role has access to. Ask an administrator to add you if you should be able to see it.
